Speed Ramps (SR50 & SR75)

Heyn Waste Solutions offer 2 types of Speed Ramps the SR50 (50mm High Section) to reduce vehicle speeds to 10 to 20 mph and the SR75 (75mm High Section) to reduce vehicle speeds to 5 to 10 mph.

The ramps are manufactured in the UK and made of dense heavy duty recycled PVC with a non-slip surface that can be installed on block paving, concrete or tarmac. The ramps come in either black or high visibility yellow painted sections with embedded cat's eyes as standard.



Any length of Speed Ramp can be made up in 500mm increments.

Each ramp is made of inter-locking mid-sections (8.6kg) and end caps (2.7kg) with M12 Coach Screws and Nylon Plugs provided Free of Charge. 

It is highly recommended that adequate signage is used alongside speed ramps to warn oncoming traffic.

Standard Manual Barrier (SRMBS)



The Standard Manual Barrier provides an ideal low cost solution to a wide variety of parking, road access and traffic management requirements.

The barrier can come in either Red and White (Standard) or Yellow and Black (available upon request) with a lockable End Rest, Padlock and Fixing Bolts as standard.

This durable, hard working barrier can be locked in either the vertical or horizontal position, providing excellent security to any specified area when required.

Constructed from high quality steel and utilising a strong but lightweight aluminium pole arm counterbalanced by supporting weights, the Standard Manual Barrier offers an excellent and cost effective solution for locations or situations where a fully automated barrier entry system is either not required or is not cost effective.

The Night Owl Bollard



The Night Owl Bollard is comprised of two components; a universal 'Bounce-back' Base unit designed to self-right the sign after impact and the Night Owl sign and graphics (Conspicuity panels) designed to provide high visibility and durability in areas without street lighting.

The reflex material of the base combined with the rigid polyethylene of the sign ensures that the bollard will withstand multiple impacts and return to upright without damage to the reflective surfaces, the sign or the base; thereby saving on expensive replacement costs. The reflectors are also recessed to further reduce potential damage with vehicle impacts.

• Unique ‘dome’ shaped Base gives reliable bounce back performance irrespective of the type of impact (side scrape, side swipe or front on).
• Base made from tough ‘Reflex’ material capable of withstanding impacts up to 70km/h to return the sign to an upright position ensuring the hazard remains clearly marked.
• Moulded-in screw thread on the top of the Base means that no mechanical components are used on the sign.
• Strong rigid construction of the sign withstands damage from the ‘trampling’ action of wheels running over the top of the sign.
• The Sign section can be moulded in most colours including stone effect/mottle finishes for environmentally sensitive areas.
• The Night Owl Sign can be easily removed and replaced in under a minute reducing danger to Highway Contractors and inconvenience to road users.
• No power supply is required, therefore road closure can usually be avoided during installation. 
• Fluorescent, retroreflective material used as standard for high visibility.
• Retroreflective panel on the Sign edge provides best in class visibility: 0.045m2 (BS 8442 requires a min of 0.02m2)
• Recyclable material used throughout; suitable for environmental re-use.
• Adapter plate available to allow the Base to be fixed to many existing mountings.
